adidas Brings Back Leather With the New Leather Tech Pack

adidas is bringing a classic touch back to the modern game with the new Leather Tech Pack, giving two of its biggest football boot silos — the Predator and F50 — a leather upgrade.

Classic Feel. Modern Performance.

The pack introduces leather across the forefoot while keeping the modern construction, shape and soleplates of the latest-generation boots.

For the F50 Elite Hyperfast L-Tech, the leather forefoot adds a softer, more traditional touch to adidas’ speed-focused F50 platform. Its white, black and orange colourway also gives a nod to the early days of the F50.

Predator Goes Back to Its Roots

The Predator Elite FT L-Tech is where the heritage really shows.

Black leather, white Three Stripes, red detailing and the iconic fold-over tongue bring back the unmistakable Predator look — but underneath, it’s still built on adidas’ current Predator Elite platform.

Small heritage details also reference the Predator’s history, including 1994, the year the original Predator arrived.

Old School Meets New School

Rather than simply recreating an old football boot, adidas has combined traditional leather with two of its latest performance platforms.

The result is a pack that brings together classic touch, iconic design and modern football boot technology.

For players who grew up with leather Predators and early F50s, the Leather Tech Pack might be one of adidas’ most interesting releases of 2026.
